Nestled in the vibrant city of Pune, Maharashtra—a place famous for its educational and cultural heritage—PlantSathi stands as a living testament to the joys, challenges, and deep purpose of cultivating plants. Since 2010, we have been on a journey that began with humble aspirations and has blossomed into a reliable, much-loved destination for plant lovers.
We established a small plant nursery on the outskirts of Pune. Back then,
the landscape for nurseries in India, especially in urban pockets, was still evolving. Our initial days were shaped by hands-on gardening, learning, experimenting, and an unwavering dedication to quality.
What began with a focus on ornamental and flowering plants quickly grew to include succulents, ferns, palms, medicinal herbs, creepers, climbers, air-purifying foliage, fruit saplings, and more. Today, we offer more than 100 varieties, curated for Indian homes and gardens.
As the city saw a rise in vertical apartments, smart homes, and workspace gardening, we responded by adding indoor plants, balcony-friendly pots, and consultation on small space gardening.
Recognizing the challenges urban gardeners faced with poor soil, we introduced premium red soil, all-purpose mix soil, and sustainable coco peat—ingredients designed to give every plant a strong start
